Ahna Han

Ahna Han

This project marked a quiet but powerful transformation: a shift from Ahna’s former business name, Dear Bayard, to designing under her own.

Known for her refined, intuitive floral work, Ahna had long been creating at a high level, but her digital presence hadn’t caught up. She wanted a brand and website that felt elevated yet deeply personal. Inspired by her transition, her artistry, and the tone of her new messaging, we crafted a romantic, editorial web experience. Utilitarian typography and structured layouts offered clarity and control, while tactile touches—like her hand-drawn signature and a soft grain texture layered across the site—introduced warmth, subtlety, and soul.

Throughout the process, we kept returning to ikebana—the Japanese floral art form rooted in balance, restraint, and negative space. It guided our choices: layouts that breathe, intentional contrast, and a sense of presence that allows each element to land with care. We translated that same intentionality into her portfolio, building out each project like a case study—layered with thoughtful imagery, behind-the-scenes insight, and gentle prompts to explore more.
